What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred support to residents.
  • Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
  • Acting as a role model and supporting the development of Support Workers.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day leadership and organisation of the home.
  • Supporting residents with personal care, daily living tasks and social activities.
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests and community activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting care planning processes.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, caring and professional approach.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and take on additional responsibilities.
