Job Title: Support Worker – Day Service

Location: Pembrokeshire

Contract: Full time & part time opportunities available, permanent positions

Employment is subject to at least two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS.

Applicants should be 18 years or over.

It would be essential for applicants to have had previous experience working with vulnerable adults, and particularly with those who have challenging behaviour.

  • Hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm, which would be between Monday and Friday (full-time and part-time hours available)

What does a ‘day in the life’ of a Support Worker entail?

  • Support our customers to access activities and the local community to live a happy, varied and fulfilling life!
  • Take responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of our customers.
  • Promote their independence and maintain high levels of dignity and respect.
  • Transferring using safe moving and handling techniques and approved equipment.
  • Preparation of meals and snacks.
  • Liaising with your Team Leader as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all care provided through a mobile application
  • Carry out or assist customers with personal care when required, such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
  • Medication.
