Elliotshill have a taste of the Premier League
Numbering a combined and mixed team of 21 people, on Saturday 22nd of July elliotshill visited the Liberty Stadium.
The stadium is the home of both the Swansea City football club, still flying high in the Premier league but also the Osprey rugby team who are one of the leading Rugby clubs in Wales
Our busy afternoon really started by all going into the club shop, with so much football and rugby items to explore for everyone, before our private and exclusive tour took us behind the locked doors and into the stadium itself.
Our tour guide Stuart, seen pictured above on the left with Mark who is a keen footballer for the Cleddau Warriors team in Pembrokeshire.
The first stop was into the home team changing rooms, with a picture below of some, really making themselves feel at home
Coordinated by Stuart, we then had a look at the changing rooms for the visiting team all the time enjoying his stories about players as well as his answers to so many of our questions.
All of us were then eager to go down the tunnel and stand alongside the pitch, although as seen in the photos below a number of our “squad” stopped in the TV interview room.
A group picture of us pitch side is next
We also had plenty of time to take our own pictures as a lasting souvenir of the day.
The last stop was into a large press room which is the venue for all those questions from the press aimed at all Premier League Managers and leading Rugby officials
The following picture shows a new group of people in the interview chairs.
Pictures continued around the trophy cabinet, some seen below, with all applauding Stuart for his brilliant help on our visit
Comments collected from all on the trip were positive and we all had a great day. It was all summed up one of our group simply by saying “that was fab!
Others now want to go to Manchester to see the Old Trafford Stadium!!
