    Elliots Hill are currently looking to recruit a part time Benefits & Finance Administrator for 3 days per week, Monday - Wednesday (24 hours per week).

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Manage and administer our service users benefits/appointee-ships;
    • Reconcile service users accounts to deadlines;
    • To highlight any anomalies and actively manage any discrepancies;
    • To ensure all company policies and legislation are adhered to;
    • And any other general office administration duties as required.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Any experience in a similar role would be advantageous;
    • Any knowledge or experience of processing/administering benefits would be advantageous;
    • Experience in dealing with personal finances;
    • Experience in using SAGE 50 accounts.

    Requirements:

    • IT literate, including Microsoft Office, and most importantly Excel;
    • Time management and organisation skills;
    • Ability to work to deadlines;
    • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and cope with interruptions whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy;
    • Attention to detail and a logical approach to tasks;
    • Ability to use initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ensuring all Customer Finance files and financial information systems are accurate, updated and are compliant with GDPR;
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Customer Finance systems and practices;
    • Work closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Management Team to streamline Customer Finance related processes and policies;
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulatory/tax authorities and internal controls;
    • Providing an excellent customer service to our internal staff and our customers with any questions or issues.

  • Support Worker - Waking Nights - Supported Living

    Job Description

    We are currently looking to recruit 2 x Waking Nights - Support Workers to work within a Supported Living House. 

    Elliots Hill Care Ltd provides care to adults with mental health and physical disabilities.

    In order to respond to our Customers support needs, you will work on a rota basis which will include shifts in the evenings, weekends and bank holidays. In addition to competitive rates of pay, we offer bespoke mandatory training including the full 12 week Induction Framework, PBM (Positive Behavioural Management) Training, Moving & Handling, and anything else required to deliver a first class service.

    Support Workers will be required to;

    • Take responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our residents;
    • Promote their independence and maintain high levels of dignity and respect;
    • Assisting with Personal Care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, oral care, toileting (including management of bladder & bowels), dressing, hair care, stoma care.
    • Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group;
    • Maintain accurate records of all care provided.
    • Enabling mobility, including Moving & Handling transfers, pushing wheelchair, checking of specialist equipment e.g. wheelchair seat cushion, driving of clients vehicle, as directed.
    • Dietetics, including assistance with menu planning, preparing, serving and storing of foods.
    • Assist with medications as prescribed by medical practitioner.
    • Dealing with correspondence and financial matters as requested such as daily finance records.
    • Day to day household tasks e.g. changing beds, laundry, ironing, shopping.
    • Respect for client confidentiality and discretion at all times.
    • Reporting & Recording as per company procedure.
    • Commitment to fulfilling on going personal development by completing all mandatory in-house training and Diploma Level 2 in Adult Health & Social Care.
    • Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times as per employee handbook.

    Experience is not as important as a willingness to learn and to be committed and enthusiastic in delivering excellent support to individuals in a fast paced environment.

    We are looking to recruit flexible and motivated full time (37.5 hours per week) Support Workers to work in our supported housing settings in Pembrokeshire. The role of Support Worker is varied and includes support with life skills such as cooking, cleaning and personal care and also social trips and leisure activities.

    Experience is not as important as a willingness to learn and to see things from the point of view of the people we support. In order to respond to their preferences and support needs, you will work on a rota basis which will include shifts in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleepovers and waking nights.

    What we offer

    • Competitive rates of pay: £22,840.00 - £23,367.00 pro rata (Example based on an average contract of 37.5 hours including 2 sleep overs per week);

Many of our senior members of staff started their careers as Support Workers and Carers and have been given the opportunity to progress and achieve additional qualifications. We can provide the stability of a full time contract or alternatively some positions offer more flexible hours and working patterns.

    The ideal candidate will be caring and be able to work on their own initiative, have a person centred approach, confident to loan work in the community and take pride in providing the highest quality of care. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

    This vacancy involves supporting individuals in their own home, and shifts will include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends worked on a rota basis.
